Tanya Crossman, author and speaker

Misundertood 3D COVER

Tanya Crossman is the author of Misunderstood: The Impact of Growing Up Overseas in the 21st Century

Tanya has spent 14 years working with, and advocating for, Third Culture Kids (TCKs). Her research focuses on TCKs born after 1985 – those who grew up in the internet age. If this topic is new to you (or even if it isn’t!) a good place to begin exploring is Tanya’s explanation of what “Third Culture” is and why it matters to expat children – read it here.

Following publication of Misunderstood in August 2016 Tanya has been sought after internationally as a speaker. She offers a range of seminars aimed at international communities and support staff, especially international school students, teachers, parents, and support staff. Click here for more information on seminars.

Tanya also blogs regularly about TCKs and issues affecting cross cultural families – a free resource available to all.
